@igurman
Sorry to hear that you ran into issues with the migration. We built the migrator to be smart enough to pick up where it left off so you should be able to refresh the page and restart.
Also, we built the entire 3.0 migration process to ensure that your site could still operate just fine while the new orders were coming in so those should be perfectly fine.
We know this is a slow upgrade at times, having migrated a large number of orders ourselves. One thing you can try and do is limit any security plugins or WAF services during the migration so that they don’t detect our migration process as a potential flood of traffic.
let me know if restarting the migration works for you.
Restarting doesn’t work, disabling WAF doesn’t work. Stuck on the same number.
Thanks for trying @igurman.
Is it possible to see if there is anything in your PHP error logs that could be causing this to hang up?
As another option, if your hosting provider gives you access to the WordPress Command Line Interface (WPCLI) we can try and run the migration there outside of the browser space.
If that doesn’t help, could you please reach out to us at https://easydigitaldownloads.com/support so we can take a more in depth look at what might be causing the issue? That way we can ask for a little bit more detailed information about your site that we may not want to make public on the forums. You can just link to this thread so our support team can have all the information we’ve already discussed.
Thanks!
OK this is becoming a nightmare since all my wp webhooks automations now time out due to the new version. Is there a possiblity to change the DB back and roll back EDD without restoring a backup?

@igurman
You can always set the EDD version back to 2.11.7, however the new purchases will exist only in the new database tables, not in the legacy data set.
I’m sorry you are running into issues. We’ve not had any reports of this upgrade having that level of affect on webhooks prior to this.
We’d be happy to dig in with you and have a look at exactly why you are having this issue so we can fix it and get your upgrade completed successfully.
Please reach out in our support form so we can assist you with more detailed information regarding your situation. Items like the system info file we request can be very helpful to help us diagnose exactly what is happening.
Update: Managed to upgrade through CLI. The webhook issue was an outdated WP Webhooks Pro version.
@igurman
I’m happy to hear that the CLI worked successfully. I’m sorry you ran into issues with the Web UI migration. Appreciate the information on the outdated version of the WP Webhooks Pro version. I’ll be sure to relay that to the rest of our support team, so they can be aware of it.
Hey @igurman – Jannis here from the team of WP Webhooks. I’m glad to read you could solve the problem. Just for our own information, could you please let us know which previous version was causing this issue?
We will make sure to note that and check further into this.
@ironikus Thanks for checking in. I had wp webhooks pro 5.0 installed with the (legacy?) EDD extension. That combination worked for a year or so but with EDD 3.0 basically stopped working altogether. By removing the edd extension and just updating to 5.2.4 by activating my Ironikus license (something I peculiarly did not do until yesterday), everything’s solved.
@igurman – Great, thanks for letting me know. The separate EDD extension is only kept alive for backward compatibility – since version 3.0, we moved it into the core of our plugin so updating it comes with a lot of benefits in the first place. Since then, we introduced conditionals, optimized logs, and many more optimizations and features which you can see here: https://wp-webhooks.com/changelog
