Database Upgrade Stalls at 42%

    Something goes wrong, and the process has stalled at 42%.

    Any help for when something like this happens??? What should be done when this sort of thing happens? Now it is just “running” in the background perpetually. And obviously this needs to be aborted.

    I probably need to abort and reload a backup of my database and just delete off this plugin….

    Sigh…

    I was preparing to delete my entire database and reinstall from Backup copy, but luckily the process resumed the next day and the database update could complete. I did not know what to do.

    I think it’s not right to not have any resources or allowances for when something goes wrong with the database update.

    Any plugin that creates a database should have some FAQ written for when something goes wrong. Because they will.
