# Database Upgrade Required

 * Today I received this message that I received a couple of years ago. When it 
   happened the last time it was a NIGHTMARE. I had all kinds of problems with it
   and I remember it just took hours to fix it. I don’t know why I haven’t received
   this message in a few years but I didn’t question it (as it was HORRIBLE last
   time).
 * I don’t want to do this now. I don’t have time for this right now especially 
   if something goes wrong, but I need access to the dashboard and to change some
   pages and posts.
 * Is there any way to work around this? I simply do not have time for this now 
   and wouldn’t have time for a few days if it goes badly as it did last time.
 * Database Update Required
 * WordPress has been updated! Before we send you on your way, we have to update
   your database to the newest version.
 * The update process may take a little while, so please be patient.

 * If you updated your wordpress and there were changes in database then you will
   need update.
 * You need to make backup of database before you update.

 * I haven’t updated anything. This message appeared out of the blue and I can’t
   access my dashboard now. I don’t have time to deal with this right now but I 
   need to access my dashboard.

 * Try running the upgrade.php again
