what site are you talking about? http://marksmeritt.com/ ?

    thought about upgrading?

    No problem navigating your site.

Please do your WordPress Backups before Upgrading WordPress.

I was talking about http://theoffhandband.com/ — and yes, it turns out everything seems fine now. It sure was screwy before. Maybe my host got my support message and did something about it but hasn’t written me yet. Hope the problem doesn’t happen again! I’ll mark this as resolved — for now!

ugh, that site really needs an upgrade. 🙁

What, theoffhandband.com needs an upgrade? Believe me, I take little pleasure in doing my websites on my own and not being able to afford to do otherwise. Hearing “ugh” doesn’t change my abilities or my wallet.

After things were fine again, then they weren’t again, all the same stuff. My hosting company shared this with me:

The internal server error you have experienced, seems to be because
    of exceeding resource usage limit.

They made clear this was the WordPress software and suggested I contact WP for support. I realize now that maybe the issue was that I’d had several posts open for editing at once, so I will be careful to do fewer things at a time. Even so, if anyone has any ideas on this based on the info above from my host, I’d appreciate it, thanks.
