Database updates issue – current WC version

Hi
I have updated WC to the current version – and have an issue I have never had before.

The WC database is not updating. I get this notification message:

” WooCommerce is updating product data in the background. Product display,sorting, and reports may not be accurate untuil it finishes. It will take few minutes and this notice will disappear when complete. Note: WP CRON has been disabled on your install which may prevent this update from completing. You can manually run queued updates here.”

When I click on the manual updates link, it opens a Sheduled page where I can click on RUN for each data update.

This has happened several times already as I update the products, coupons etc.

I have NEVER has this issue before, I don’t need to update anything manually.

Please advise what this error message means and how to fix it.

I too have this message right after the latest update. Did you find a fix?

Are you still having trouble with this?

The Action Scheduler events run automatically – like WordPress cron events.

Note: WP CRON has been disabled on your install which may prevent this update from completing. You can manually run queued updates here

For WooCommerce to work correctly with the Action Scheduler, you need either WP Cron to be enabled or for something to run the cron events for you. Ideally you would enable WP cron.

When I submitted my reply just now. I got an error message and my post was gone. What happened?? I have to start from scratch. This time I will copy my post so that I don’t have to re-type it again.

This issue seems to have gone. I note your point about WP Crone and will monitor it.

However, I have reported several other issues over the past weeks to which I have not received a reply. As a Plugin Support would you kindly reply or ask another Support member to reply to these posts:

1. Status change on my Orders page suddenly appear as comments on my site comments page

2. A WC snippet (can’t tell which one) creates a Fatal Error which interferes with my Mailchimp integration
