    Hey there,

    I have a staging site to make major updates to the live production site and one such update is the woocommerce database. Which is taking forever, like a few days now. There are only 4 products. The website itself is very basic as in not many pages or posts.

    Here’s the comment I see on the dashboard:

    WooCommerce is updating the database in the background. The database update process may take a little while, so please be patient.

    I have caching turned off. I don’t know what I can do to troubleshoot to fix this hanging update that doesn’t seem to update.

    Can you please advise?

    maybe your php memmory limit is too small and the ram of your server also.
    Another option to update the database is using the WPCLI comand
