# Database Update Required Error

 * I just did the automatic update. When I go to the Admin I get the normal Database
   Update Required. When I click on the Update I get this error message, “WordPress
   3.2.1 requires MySQL 5.0 or higher”
 * My blog is on a Media Temple Gridserver running PHP version 5.2.4 and MySQL client
   version 5.0.32
 * Have searched the Forum for possible fixes, but no joy. Any direction would be
   much appreciated.
