• I went to log into wp-admin tonight and
    found this message:
    Database Update Required

WordPress has been updated! Before we
send you on your way, we have to update
your database to the newest version.

The update process may take a little
    while, so please be patient.

    Update WordPress Database

I’ve never seen this before – I had
just installed wp on this site and
updated it as soon as I logged in…

I spent the day building a mobile site…
decided to go back to check something
before i went live and that’s the message
    I got…

The site had been running just fine
all through the installation and set up.

After I clicked the Update WP database link
these are the two messages I recieved:

Fatal error: Class ‘WP_Theme’ not found in /home2/kstavert/public_html/locksmith/wp-includes/theme.php on line 106

Fatal error: Call to undefined function get_front_page_template() in /home2/kstavert/public_html/locksmith/wp-includes/template-loader.php on line 26

Am I screwed? Do I have to just uninstall and
    start all over?

Please, please, please tell me that there is a
    way to fix this.

I am reasonably familiar with the inner workings
of cpanel… still on training wheels, though 🙂

I will really appreciate some help with this…

    Thank you kindly Karen
don’t know if it matters but: OS Win7-32 bit
