Hello!
Thank you for reaching out about the notice in the Dashboard that will not go away. The first thing I recommend is to conduct a thorough Conflict Test to see if there is another plugin preventing this from going away. You can learn more about how to conduct that test here:
https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/how-to-test-for-conflicts/
I hope this helps! Please let me know how this test turns out and we will go from there. Take care and stay safe!

Hello,
thank you for answer and the link.
I already got that hint and that link and tried it now again.
But even if I do anything what there is described – the message/button is not able to “confirm” by click.
Is there a possibility to delete this message by manual editing the database?
Hello again,
Thank you for replying and letting me know the conflict test does not solve this issue. I have done some research between our chats here and found that there is an existing bug related to this issue. You can follow along here:
https://github.com/woocommerce/woocommerce-admin/pull/3497
There is a workaround that can be used, here:
https://gist.github.com/timmyc/ee0c6f4cb3ed82620efaa16386e62c6b
I hope this helps! If you have any further questions please feel free to reply to this message and I will get back to you. Take care!

Hello Phillip,
many thanks for this information.
The workaround did not work – but due to your code I was lead into the right direction.
So I changed into the mySQL database “wc_admin_notes” the status von “unactioned” to “actioned” and the message disappeared.
See here: https://prnt.sc/sbfrmb
Thank you very much for your support to find the rootcause!
Kind regards
Sascha
Hello again @kleinsascha,
Excellent news! I am glad to hear that even though my suggestion didn’t work you were able to find one because of it! I see you have already marked this issue as resolved, thank you for that. If you have any further problems feel free to start a new thread.
Take care and stay safe!
Same issue here. The workaround function here https://gist.github.com/timmyc/ee0c6f4cb3ed82620efaa16386e62c6b worked for removing the updatebase update notice. But I am still seeing the ‘Coupon management has moved!’ notice. If there a workaround for that one?
