I then imported a backup of my database using phpMyAdmin. * When I login to wp-admin I get the message: * > WordPress has been updated! Before we send you on your way, we have to update > your database to the newest version. * After updating, I get * > Your WordPress database has been successfully updated! * When I click on “Continue” it brings me back to the prevous message. * Any ideas on how to get out of this loop? The WP folder is in public_html/myblog but when I look there I see that it has been renamed /myblog.bkp * I have renamed the themes folder and reset the plugins folder. * I’m not sure I understand the next step. By a fresh download of WordPress do you mean a new backup? The wp-content contains plugins- >akismet, themes->twentyten-old, uploads (empty). The wp-admin and wp-includes were updated with the new download.
