# Database update kills site

 * I tried to update my WordPress. After the update, the site asked me to update
   the database. However, that database install had a bunch of errors. Not only 
   can I not access the Dashboard until the database is updated, but my site has
   disappeared.
 * Can I somehow go back to the old version? I promise I’ll never update again.

 * Sorry about the delay. Another catastrophic computer failure made me forget about
   my WordPress site entirely.
 * When I try to access the Dashboard, it tells me Database Update Required, with
   a button to press for the update. When I press the button, I get a series of 
   errors, followed by a notation that the update has been completed. Of course,
   when I return to the Dashboard, it still needs an update. I have no access to
   anything.
 * Here’s the error message:
