# Database Size Issues

 * I’ve been told by my host that the reason I’ve been having queries getting stuck
   is that the size of the database is too large and I need to reduce it. Is there
   anything I can do from a wordpress perspective? I have a lot of posts going back
   several years that I don’t want to eliminate or delete. Is there a plugin or 
   something that would enable me to reduce the size of the database without losing
   content?

   Definitely back up your database first though.
 * Could you post a list of plugins that you’re using? We might be able to determine
   if one or two are hogging too much space.

 * I’m using Akismet, Duplicate Post, EWWW Image Optimizer, Jetpack, Slick Contact
   Forms, The Events Calendar, Theme Check, Updraft Plus, Use Shortcodes in Sidebar
   Widgets, WP-DBManger, WP-Optimize, WP Missed Schedule, WP Optimize By xTraffic,
   WP Super Cache.
