• before saying HI, let me mention my mental state. Remember the Rush Hour movie?? a Chinese bad ass girl puts a remote Bomb in Jackie Chan’s mouth and tapes it over. Chan then tires to explain it to Chris tucker but Chan’s mouth and hands are all taped over. That times 10 is my current situation when i tried to explain my problem to other designers.

    Hi,
in simplest form, i am building a Location Guide website.

Main Contents will be the various districts of the state.
Each districts have sub pages like

    a)Hotels in that district,
    b)Restaurants and so on . . .

i have created custom post types for Hotels and Restaurants. what i aim to achieve is:

    District1/district1-hotels/hotel_name
    District2/district2-hotels/hotel_name
    District2/district2-restaurants/restaurant_name

also District 1 must have a page, District1-hotels must have a page . . . and if i click on a hotel in say, district4 named Paragon, then its URL structure must be District4/district4-hotels/Paragon

i tried permalinks and all, but cant figure it out

any kind of help or advices will be much appreciated from the bottom of my heart.

kindly refer to the TripAdvisor.com structure if confused.

if above seems confusing, pardon me, but is there a way where i can redirect or link a custom archive page to one of my wordpress page/post, either by modifying .htacess or fuctions.php or through a plugin.

    cheers and thanks in advance,
    LukeSkywalker 🙂
