 * I am having allsorts of problems with WP and have decided to reinstall today 
   how do i restore my backup?

 * did you have clean install with a new database
    Do you have back up old database
   if is it .sql file that is did you make it from phpmyadmin export feature or 
   a built in cpanel back up.
