 * Dear All,
 * I have several database tables installed on my page. Now after a WP update, and
   page restoration from a malfunctioning plugin / theme, I lost all my pages, my
   admin page leads to an empty WP dashboard.
 * I have trouble reconnecting an old database to this new page, so my pages and
   posts are restored. (Also, I would like to clean up the messy database structure)
   I tried modifying wp-config.php with database credentials, but all I ended up
   with is a page where wp installations starts.
 * Any help is appreciated.
    Thanks, Akos

 * Hello!
    Have you checked if your database prefix is correct? Make sure the lower/
   uppercase letters also match 🙂

 * Hi Valentine,
 * Thanks for the answer.
    I did check the cases, here’s the structure I have: regenera_wp
   regenera_wp506 regenera_wp912
 * Now, the current connection points to regenera_wp (which is blank/new). However,
   changing the login/DB credentials to regenera_wp912 (where my posts and pages
   are) in wp-config.php was not sufficient. I wanted to get my old page back, instead
   I got a new installation prompt.
 * Thanks,
    Akos

 * Hello,
 * I would recommend you to consider restoring your wp-config.php and database.
 * If this is not suitable, double check your wp-config.php database, username,
   password and host, as well as the prefix.
 * If your database regenera_wp912 has the necessary content and your credentials
   are correct, your website should work properly.
 * If, however, the database has some inconsistency, the website would not work
   correctly. In this case a restore is recommended.
 * Regards,
    Kiril
