the database is in the admin panel (I have it even repaired and optimized) but it seems to be “not hooked” to the blog

The blog shows a post, which means it is connected to a database. What makes you think it’s broken?
because the DB backup is on my desk and is 79 MB
if I go in phpmsql the database is present
if I go inside the DB the tables are created and the archives are in it
in wp admin panel the db is there (plugin wp-db)
so in fact
the good DB is present everywhere but not in the blog
I am lost with that one because I never had such an issue
