 * Hi there,
 * my site (siluofake.com) worked fluently. About one month ago, when I was installing
   another site, I deleted a mysql database by accident!
    Now when I try to open
   my site ([http://siluofake.com](http://siluofake.com)), I got the following error
   message (google translate from Chinese): “Error in creating database connection”.
   And when I want to open “[http://siluofake.com/wp-admin/&#8221](http://siluofake.com/wp-admin/&#8221);
   I got the following error message:
 * “Can not select database
 * We were able to connect to the database server (which means that your username
   and password are correct) but failed to select the $s database.
 * 1. Are you sure it exists?
    2. Does the user veryeuro_europe1 have permission
   to use the database veryeuro_cinask? 3. In some systems your database name prefix
   is your username, in the case of username_veryeuro_cinask. Could this be the
   problem? ”
 * Is there any way to recover a deleted mysql database through cpanel? Thank you
   very much.

 * check the details in wp-config.php
    ensure that MySQL is up and working confirm
   with your hosting if MySQL server is on localhost or a different server

 * You should login to your host’s cPanel and check whether the user `veryeuro_europe1`
   is connected to the database in question, and that the database exists, and if
   it has all access privileges.

 * Thanks a lot. I am very very sorry but I realized now that not long ago when
   I was installing another wordpress site, I deleted that database (veryeuro_cinask)
   by accident. My own fault. I am very very sorry to bother you. Is there any way
   to recover a mysql database? Thank you guys.

 * I contact my web hoster, they have backups only for 7 days. So, it is helpless.
   My own fault. The lesson I learned from it is that one should really backup everything
   regularly, then as I changed the name of my site, I didn’t change the name of
   my database, that is why I deleted the “unknown” database. Sigh!

 * Sorry to hear. Yes, the importance of having backup is something people often
   fail to realise. Until it bites back. Good luck in restoring your website.
