  • Your WP database user should have full privileges.

That’s what I thought. I’ve installed wordpress a few times now and never had any problems, so I think this is a server side error, but my hosting company, who has horrible technical support keeps insisting it’s my fault. They are moving me to another server and they claim that will solve it, but doesn’t that mean that it is infact a server issue of some kind? I’ve asked them to allow me to enable EXECUTE priviliges again, because right now when I select ALL PRIVILEGES and click update, the EXECUTE one is disabled when I go back and check. SOOOOO frustrating!

    Thanks for your reply Esmi!

I can only assume that they intend to move you to another MySQL server that does allow you to have db users with full privileges. But yes, it sounds like a server issue to me, too.
