# Database password issues

 * This is the error I’ve been getting when trying to activate some plugins, like
   wp stats dashboard, Category Order, My Page Order, etc.
 *     ```
       WordPress database error: [Duplicate column name 'passwd']
       ALTER TABLE wp_forum_groups ADD passwd varchar(20)
       ```
   
 * I’ve been in the db, but I have no idea how to modify this…

 * The table wp_forum_groups is not a standard WordPress table. May need to deactivate
   plugin (some forum type plugin) to fix the problem from occuring.

 * Thanks! I thought I’d dropped those tables from the db, but they were still there.
   There gone now and all is fine.
