• I went through all the same steps I always do when developing locally. Created a database, referenced the database in the wp-config file, built the site locally, and now I’m trying to export the .sql file in phpmyadmin and there aren’t any files for me to export. Nothing at all.

The site works fine locally and I’m able to edit, just can’t see the database. Any ideas at all?

Does not sound that the database does not exist. How many databases do you find in phpMYAdmin?

Right now there are about 10 databases for the different sites I’ve developed

Is there another way to locate the database that I’m not aware of?

Look at the config.php file of the site in question for the database name and look for the same name in your phpMyAdmin. You will find it there.

Thanks – Thats where I looked initially and it’s completely empty. I’m far from an expert here, but I’ve done a number of wordpress installs, always build the site locally, and I’ve never ran into any issues like this in the past.
