# Database max connections

 * Hi guys.
 * When I turn on page caching, it gives a lot of database errors. On PHPMyAdmin,
   I see a max connections error.
 * And on the frontend I constantly get database connection error.

 * I’m very sorry to hear that you’ve experienced this issue while using our plugin!
 * This usually is an issue caused by a very low setting for database connections
   on the hosting. It rarely happens nowadays, but some hosting companies are still
   setting that to a low value and with any increase in traffic to the site it will
   cause those issues.
 * My suggestion in this case would be to:
    – make sure you don’t have preloading
   enabled on Hummingbird >> Caching – contact your hosting provider to check if
   there’s no other issue or if they can increase the number of available connections

 * I’ll see if they can increase the available connections.
