 * Dear support,
 * I’m using your plugin and everything seems to work fine but while I open all
   the .zip file I don’t see my .sql (database file) any where.
 * Can you please tell me where is located?
 * Regards,
 * [https://wordpress.org/plugins/updraftplus/](https://wordpress.org/plugins/updraftplus/)

 * Hi,
 * Your database backup is a separate file, ending in the extension db.gz. It is
   not in any of the .zip files. To download it, go to the ‘Existing Backups’ tab
   of your UpdraftPlus page in your WP dashboard, and click on the ‘Database’ button.

 * Hi,
 * Thanks for your quick reply!
 * But how do I get the .sql file, please?

 * Hi,
 * The db.gz file is a gzip-compressed SQL file. To download it, go to the ‘Existing
   Backups’ tab of your UpdraftPlus page in your WP dashboard, and click on the ‘
   Database’ button.

 * Hi David,
 * Sorry for my question that might sound too simple for you. But, when I decompress
   the file:
    backup_2015-08-10-1454_Le_Progrs_adecf42869bb-db.gz
 * I get a file like this:
    backup_2015-08-10-1454_Le_Progrs_adecf42869bb-db
 * but not a .sql.
 * In case I will need to restore the database, PHPmyAdmin will request a .sql file.
 * What should I do then?
 * Thanks for your help!
 * Regards,
    Christian.

 * Hi Christian,
 * If phpMyAdmin requires the imported file to end in .sql, then just rename the
   UpdraftPlus backup (after decompressing it), so that it does so. It is in SQL
   format, so after that, all should be fine.

 * Hi David,
 * How should I rename it?
 * This: backup_2015-08-10-1454_Le_Progrs_adecf42869bb-db
    into this: backup_2015-
   08-10-1454_Le_Progrs_adecf42869bb-db.sql
 * Please, confirm
 * Regards,
    Christian.
