It wants to default to the old URL instead of the new one. Is there an easy way to fix this or do I need a mysql wiz to hire? * Aside from that, of course all my images are gone. Any suggestions for that? Sorry… amateur issues. Moving WordPress installation should be done with extra care because it may brake your website. * In your case, I would suggest you to restore your whole WordPress website with last backup. Unfortunately I cannot restore it. I did try to take extra care with help of support, but obviously I made a mistake. Was it originally at the web root (metalsludge.tv) and then you moved it to classic? The new site was built on another server with its own database. If I try changing the siteurl in options in myPHPadmin, feature images show up. Then if I attempt to log in to the dashboard, it reverts back. None of these articles are helping me. I tried to do this correctly with the guidance of tech support and despite my better judgement I tried to just follow the steps instead of hiring someone to do it.
