Support » Fixing WordPress » Database Issue with Single Quotes

  • I installed WP quite awhile ago and all was working fine. I logged in today, and all the sudden, I cannot save any posts that include single quotes. I can see that in the error that they are being escaped, so I’m not sure what’s going on. It looked like others had this problem with 2.0.3, but I was on version 2.0.1. I upgraded to 2.0.4, and I still have the same issue:

WordPress database error: [You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near ‘s little girl graciously agreed to make an appearance on the show to demonstrate’ at line 5]

    Also at the end:

Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started at c:\sites\single11\aquiggle\webroot\wp-includes\wp-db.php:104) in c:\sites\single11\aquiggle\webroot\wp-includes\pluggable-functions.php on line 270

Any help would be much appreciated!

    Thanks!
