# database is crashing

 * Ive installed jetpack and its working great most of the time, but every 1 in 
   4 times i click on the “jetpack” page in the admin panel it takes a long time
   to respond. if i refresh the page i get this error
 * > Error reconnecting to the database
   >  This means that we lost contact with the
   > database server at localhost. This could mean your host’s database server is
   > down.
 * after a few minutes the database comes back online and all returns to normal 
   until the next time it crashes.
