Database Errors and Blank Pages

I have not updated my blog in the past three weeks. Despite that, a few days ago, when I went to my blog, I got a database error (I neglected to capture the exact error). A couple days ago, it started working again, but today, when I go to my blog, it’s just a blank page.

I tried reloading, and it worked, but then the CSS looked all weird. I have checked out my blog from multiple computers in multiple locations and verified that the problem is occurring independent of a particular computer.

I am using the default theme, so I haven’t modified anything. I appreciate any help you can offer.
