[Resolved] database error on login page

  • Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started at /home/profleet/public_html/wp-content/themes/multi-color/functions.php:13) in /home/profleet/public_html/wp-includes/pluggable.php on line 881

    This follows my DROPping all the database entries added via a fresh WP installation on a new server so I could import the database from the test server where the desired WP site was created. Thanks in advance for any protocols.

    @esmi

    The following is the start of functions.php; line 13 is the second <?php

    Thanks for the link, but I couldn’t figure out what to do with this, unless the preceding lines are causing a problem. In the original site which works, the second <?php is line 7, since there are no blank lines–are those the problem?

    <?php

    /*

    @package WordPress

    @subpackage multi-color

    */

    ?>

    <?php

    $mc_shortname = 'multi-color';

    Try:

    <?php
    /*
    @package WordPress
    @subpackage multi-color
    */

    $mc_shortname = 'multi-color';

    That’s it–thanks.
