* Hi
I’m logging into my page and I’m getting this scary piece of ‘information’
on top of page when entering the dashboard. Does anyone know what to do – how
to ‘fix’?[The SELECT would examine more than MAX_JOIN_SIZE rows; check your WHERE
and use SET SQL_BIG_SELECTS=1 or SET MAX_JOIN_SIZE=# if the SELECT is okay]`SELECT
wp_posts.ID FROM wp_posts INNER JOIN wp_postmeta ON ( wp_posts.ID = wp_postmeta.
post_id ) INNER JOIN wp_postmeta AS mt1 ON ( wp_posts.ID = mt1.post_id ) WHERE
1=1 AND ( ( wp_postmeta.meta_key = '_alg_wc_pvbur_visible' AND wp_postmeta.meta_value!
= '' ) OR ( mt1.meta_key = '_alg_wc_pvbur_invisible' AND mt1.meta_value != ''))
AND wp_posts.post_type = 'product' AND ((wp_posts.post_status = 'publish')) GROUP
BY wp_posts.ID ORDER BY wp_posts.post_date DESC LIMIT 0, 1`
* Thanks SO much in advance!!

* To be added:
When I try to update any plugin at all, it comes back with this:
* Update failed: WordPress database error: [The SELECT would examine more than
MAX_JOIN_SIZE rows; check your WHERE and use SET SQL_BIG_SELECTS=1 or SET MAX_JOIN_SIZE
=# if the SELECT is okay]SELECT wp_posts.ID FROM wp_posts INNER JOIN wp_postmeta
ON ( wp_posts.ID = wp_postmeta.post_id ) INNER JOIN wp_postmeta AS mt1 ON ( wp_posts.
ID = mt1.post_id ) WHERE 1=1 AND ( ( wp_postmeta.meta_key = '_alg_wc_pvbur_visible&#
039; AND wp_postmeta.meta_value != '' ) OR ( mt1.meta_key = '_alg_wc_pvbur_invisible&#
039; AND mt1.meta_value != '' ) ) AND wp_posts.post_type = 'product&#
039; AND ((wp_posts.post_status = 'publish')) GROUP BY wp_posts.ID
ORDER BY wp_posts.post_date DESC LIMIT 0, 1{“success”:true,”data”:{“update”:”

* That error looks like the query is hitting the database row limit rather than
WordPress itself being completely broken. Since the query is joining with twice,
the size of the WooCommerce product/meta tables could be part of the problem.
I’d first check whether the issue started with the Woo Extra Product Options
update, then test with that plugin disabled if possible. Checking the database
size and indexes may also help before changing globally.

* Thank you Oliver! I will try, as far as I can with my very limited experience–
but might have to come back on some issues :o)

* Update: I hade four plugins ready for update. Tried to disable them one by one
and check, and it doesn’t seem to have anything to do with plugins.
Wrote an
email to my provider as well, haven’t heard anything yet. Until I do, I’ll let
it be, perhaps somebody had same experience.
