# Database Error

 * I upgraded to 2.7 a few days ago and everything’s been smooth until yesterday.
   I made absolutely no changes to my site, but it now displays an error that says“
   Error establishing a database connection”.
 * I checked my database and everything appears fine. What could have caused this
   and how can I fix it?

 * Have you checked your wp-config file to make sure everything is set correctly(
   wasn’t overridden)?
 * Also, it could be a happenchance coincidence that your server is having trouble(
   nothing to do with WP).
