I updated my WordPress installation to the latest version and I updated the Virtue Theme, and then I updated the required plug in. It was working and up. Then I tried to add a new blog post and it timed out. Now I’m getting this message when I even go to the site, let alone try to log in:

Warning: mysql_connect() [function.mysql-connect]: User 1_02f6373_0 already has more than ‘max_user_connections’ active connections in /data/22/2/16/107/2016922/user/2207267/htdocs/WordPress/wp-includes/wp-db.php on line 1515
    Error establishing a database connection

It’s not like I can uninstall the theme and reinstall it, because it won’t load the WordPress back end.

I suggest contacting your host, sounds like you need to run a database repair which you can do in cpanel but most hosts can do it for you as well.
That would be my guess. I don’t think this is theme related because the theme doesn’t effect host wordpress creates posts in the database.

Let me know how it goes.

Sounds like a problem with your service provider. Also, The mysql_connect has been deprecated and is no longer supported in the new php7. If or when your service provider updates their php version it will cause you problems.

This needs to be change by the theme author before it cause problems.

mrtom414, or anyone else reading this theme is not using mysql_connect
