  • I am having the same issue. Mine is more severe, effecting all of my sites that are on one server. I can view some of the sites but others I get that same issue you posted above via that thread.

On the websites that do work I get the message when I try to go to wp-admin/ yet the main function of the site works fine. I then tested the same site with a 4glte connection with a different IP and I can log into wordpress. So the exploit seems to be targeting the admins IP. This all happened last night to 12 websites. Some sites have the latest core update and others have older cores.

    All of my versions are:
    3.4.2
    3.7.1
    3.8

I have this issue from the start of a clean installation WP 3.8.1
I’m sure it has nothing to do with my host.

Since many users have this problem, with different hosts it must be a WP problem.

When i have that database error i’ll try to use another IP and let you know the outcome.

I mentioned in my starting post:
I have more websites on that same server, they are working very well.
    They are NOT WordPress websites!

I am thinking it is word press but this happened last night. I went through my file change warnings and found nothing changed. The main IT guy is saying that this issue is very bizarre and someone else is having the same issue this morning.

I was going through my analytics to look at advertising data and found my host using up 19 hours of data on my site. Can you check your Analytics also and see if there is an abnormal amount of time via your host? It could be an exploit that is targeting hosts then using them to get into WordPress it’s self.

I have a few websites running on the same server, it’s not happenings on those sites, only on the WP site.

I’ll check my analytics as we’ll, thanks!

I haven’t found any extra hours used by my host…
