 * My server has frequent MySQL failues, which cause my site to be unavailable.
   When that happens, visitors get this message.
 * Question: how do I edit or change this error message? My site is not in English
   and most of my visitors are not English speakers. Besides, this seems more an
   administrator-oriented message than anything else. I’d prefer to have a visitor-
   oriented message that said: this is a temporary problem, please visit this site
   later.
 * Thanks in advance.

    Error establishing a database connection
 * This either means that the username and password information in your wp-config.
   php file is incorrect or we can’t contact the database server at localhost. This
   could mean your host’s database server is down.
 * * Are you sure you have the correct username and password?
    * Are you sure that
   you have typed the correct hostname? * Are you sure that the database server
   is running?
 * If you’re unsure what these terms mean you should probably contact your host.
   If you still need help you can always visit the WordPress Support Forums.

 * That info is in ‘wp-db.php’ at the top.
 * Of course the real answer is to move host……

 * podz, thanks.
 * I’m sorry to say that I’m using the featured host on top of the list of hosts
   recommended by WordPress.org
 * That is, bluehost.com
 * Is that one not supposed to be the best host?

 * I’m biased – I see the help requests here.
 * The way I see it, you pay your cash, they provide a good service.
    If they don’t,
   move. You could try the feedback email address on the host page.
 * I like [http://www.asmallorange.com](http://www.asmallorange.com), and I keep
   hearing good things about [http://www.site5.com](http://www.site5.com) (neither
   link there has a referer code in it)
