  • WP is throwing a DB connection error whenever I try to save a post or upload an image:

    Error establishing a database connection

This either means that the username and password information in your wp-config.php file is incorrect or we can’t contact the database server at localhost. This could mean your host’s database server is down.

    * Are you sure you have the correct username and password?
    * Are you sure that you have typed the correct hostname?
    * Are you sure that the database server is running?

I have not changed my username or password. I know that my server isn’t the problem because I CAN successfully ftp the image to my server. Would anyone have any ideas what could be causing this?

UPDATE: I now see that my entire site is unavailable. And when I try to access my host server I cannot. I get a “license expired” msg. I’m guessing that Carthik, whose virtual server I’m using, may’ve reconfigured his security settings & somehow disabled my username & password.
