 * I’m attempting to install a WordPress blog at [http://www.brooklyncollegeradio.org/blog](http://www.brooklyncollegeradio.org/blog)
 * But the database is hosted at mysql.annkara.org
 * Is it possible to host the database on a different server than the blog code
   and files?
 * Thanks,
 * Jesse

 * Yup, wp.com does it that way. Edit you config file and put the URL of the outside
   MySQL server into the line for where the db host is. Do note though that you
   should notify your hosts on both boxes because many hosts do not allow access
   to their MySQL databases from outside their box.
 * Hope this helps,
