• I have just done a database backup on my production site and am trying to restore it on my dev system.
However, when I run the sql script it keeps falling over with messages like

    • incorrect value “” for datetime
    • incorrect integer value ” for column x

I am using version 6.0.0 of iThemese Security.

Is this a known problem ?
Is there a corrective fix or workaround possible ?

  • Why not update to the latest iTSEc plugin release (7.2.0) and test ?

The 6.0.0 release is 2 years old …

I’m not saying the 7.2.0 release will fix this particular issue, but there have been several important improvements in the database backup code…

Just search for the word “backup” in the plugin Changelog history and you’ll find 8 database backup fixes since 6.0.0 …

One other thing, what are the from and to MySQL versions ?
It could be a MySQL version incompatibility issue (or sql_mode).
