 * Hello.
 * I started creating a website with WordPress on October 31st,
   and I have enabled
   BackWPup for backup.
 * I have several other sites, and the backups are working fine.
 * However, for the new site I started creating a few days ago,
   the logs show that
   it finished successfully from October 31st to today,but there is no .sql in either
   the folder that backs up the database backup and the list of installed plugins,
   or in Dropbox.
 * When I downloaded the backup and checked the contents,
   it only contained backwpup_readme.
   txt, manifest.json, and pluginlist.2024-⚪︎-⚪︎.txt, which also contains a list
   of other plugins.
 * The processing time for the folder is 0 seconds each time.
 * When I checked the contents of the Dropbox backup,
   I found that it contained .
   sql without the database name.
 * For other sites, the backup contained .sql with the database name.
 * The settings are exactly the same as other sites, and the site themes and WordPress
   versions are all up to date.
 * How can I back it up properly?

 * Hello,
   Thank you for reaching out.Yes, DB backup file name option has been removed
   in the latest version; refer to the changelog: [https://wordpress.org/plugins/backwpup/#developers](https://wordpress.org/plugins/backwpup/#developers).
   You can refer this thread with more details and workaround: [https://wordpress.org/support/topic/db-only-backup-sql-file-is-unnamed-and-hidden/](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/db-only-backup-sql-file-is-unnamed-and-hidden/)

 * Thank you. I have just read your reference question.
 * So unless I add code to function.php or install a helper plugin,
   I won’t know
   if the database is really being backed up.
 * I’m sure the database is actually being backed up, but I’m not sure if it’s really
   okay.
 * I’ll try the solution you suggested.
 * Thank you.
