database backup can’t be completed

    Hi,

    When the backup process starts, it can successfully backup plugins, themes, uploads, other. However, when it starts to backup database, the backup process simply stop progressing. After several resumptions, it stops and marked as incompleted.

    Please kindly advise how to fix this issue. Thank you!

    Hi,

    Please could you send us a copy of the latest backup log?
    This log can be found in the Existing Backups tab of the UpdraftPlus settings page.

    The contents will be too long to post here directly, but you can use an online service such as Pastebin and post the link here.

    Hi,

    The issue is that UpdraftPlus is not able to process the data in the posts field with the resources available.

    Could you contact your hosts/server admin and ask them to increase the maximum execution time available to scripts? This is usually controlled through the ‘max_execution_time’ configuration in php.ini, though there may be other mechanisms.

    The pre-set value is 300s. This shall, in general, be quite enough. Please kindly advise how much time I shall set for the max_execution_time.
