• Hi,

it’s still a great plugin and in one or another way it’s solving all my needs. Thanks. πŸ™‚

But one question i have. I need an multiple data files upload. I don’t want insert 5 file uploading fields, because i’m not sure how many files the user will upload. Is there any possiblity that you see to upload several files with your uploading files in once? (For the image upload field it would be handy too.)

Thanks a lot and with best regards
    AndrΓ©

I have something like this for images with the Image Expansion add-on, but at present it is only for images.

Thanks for the reply. That sounds interesting, but it’s not possible to add manualy maybe pdf to the image expansion file types? And if i’ll use the media library management, are the images still linked to my participant clearly or are they in the big whole image heap?

Certainly it is possible, but I haven’t taken a look at it to see what the details are. It’s on my list of improvements to the add-on…

    Hi,
thanks for the set on the list. I’ll try to add the pdf type by myself then. In the meantime i’ve bought your image kit and it works great. I just have one little problem. When i am build two or more multi-upload-fields in one group or one signup form, then each multi-upload-field gets all the images. Of course i have different field-names. Is there a possibility to differ these fields or can i use only one multi-upload field in the whole signup process?
Thanks a lot for your help.

I honestly didn’t test trying to use more than one multi-upload field, but of course this should be possible. I’ll write this up and see if it can be fixed, but for now you’ll probably be limited to a single multi-upload field.

thats nice, thank you. i tried a few things with the multi-upload-field and it seems, that the field can save the images for itself, but when an error, for example an empty required field, then the images of all multi-fields are all summed in the field. maybe i find a solution, then i’ll write you πŸ™‚

Can i ask one last question? πŸ™‚ I have a custom template for my list and i would like to display my multi-images in my custom table. The Image Kit Plugin saves all the images names in a string with comma seperation and without the image type. Is there another way to get the images files or at least the names with the type like image.png? The normal image upload field is saving the image-file-name with the type. I searched in the documentation and the tech informations but couldn’t find anything.
    Thanks a lot.

When using the Image Expansion add-on, all images are saved as WordPress media items, and in the database, what is saved is the “slug” name of the media item.
