    My first comment,

Any tips for getting my remote database table (rdb) to appear in the Data Publisher page? As of right now, it just says “No Data”. I am the administrator on the wordpress site and have selected the ‘administrator’ role in the Data Publisher Tool Access settings. The table is connected correctly and appears in the Data Explorer.

    My second comment,

I just found this video, https://youtu.be/3FQevUG21bU?t=680 and at timestamp 11:20, the Data Publisher page shows an “Add New” button, I do not have this and I think that is the root of the problem. Any help would be appreciated!

    Peters response:

Have you granted access to your remote table? Please follow these steps:
    – Go to Settings menu
    – Submenu WP Data Access
    – Tab Front-End
    – Select your remote database from the list
    – Click on the remote tables to which you want to grant access
    – Save your settings
Let me know if this solve your problem…

Peter, thanks for the tips, but I had already tried this with no luck. I just attempted it again and the “Add new” button on the Data Publisher is still missing. I have messed around with various configuration settings but no luck. Probably spent ~3hours trying to debug this so far.

I am determined to get this plugin working! Please let me know what else to try!

    Hi Sean,

Can you please check your back-end settings:
    – Go to Settings
    – WP Data Access
    – Back-end
    – Enable checkbox “Allow insert”

    See this page:
    https://wpdataaccess.com/docs/documentation/plugin-settings/back-end/

Please let me know if this solve it…

    Best regards,
    Peter

@peterschulznl that worked!!! I must have unchecked that setting. I was also wondering why I couldn’t delete or edit some of my tables in the data projects tab, but this fixed it as well!

To be honest, I think you should add a note to these options:
    Allow transactions?
Allow insert -> Allow insert (enable usage in Data Publisher)
Allow update -> Allow update (enable edit in Data Publisher and Data Projects)
Allow delete -> Allow delete (enable delete in Data Publisher and Data Projects)

Or something like above.. thanks for your help, really appreciate it! Now I have to figure out how to style my table appropriately and limit it to display just the top 10 rows.

    Thanks!!!
