I know, what I have to do! Thanks.

But I also know that I need a data processing agreement for every plugIn, which processes data (for me). This is also a requirement to be GDPR conform.

So once again: How do I get the data processing agreement for contact form 7 to be compliant with GDPR?

    Thank you!

This plugin doesn’t independently collect or process any user data, but you as the site admin do. You should add an acceptance checkbox to all forms, linked to your privacy policy, where the user agrees to this.

If the plugin never touches the data, I then need a statement about that (privacy policy or similar). Otherwise I cannot proof that I am GDPR conform!

And that is with or without checkboxes (which are not necessary – you only need to write “I agree” on the button instead of “send”. You need checkboxes, when you want to combine the newsletter with an incentive).

Sorry – mixed up newsletter and contact form – it is 2am.

@takayukister Can you confirm that Contact Form 7 plugin do not process(collect) personal data like emails, names etc.? In other words, do you store email addresses, names, messages and could you access the data people put in the contact form if you wanted to? Or you just transfer the data without processing them?

@takayukister I did not find anything to that point and the reaction to a similar question, you can see above. They are either processing or they do not take GDPR seriously.
