# Data map

 * I am not sure anyone is going to get what I am trying to do but here goes anyway…
   
   I need to put a map on my WordPress site that allows people to either drop a 
   pin on their address or fill in a form (address) and then a flag is pinned to
   the map. I need to check the density for a product in an area. If someone can
   steer me in the right direction it would be most appreciated.

 * You could try searching through the [plugins directory](https://wordpress.org/plugins/search.php?type=term&q=map+pin),
   although I couldn’t find anything quite so specific to your needs.
 * Perhaps your best option for something so specific would be to post on the [WordPress Jobs board](http://jobs.wordpress.net/)
   as their are many developers available to hire who could customize an existing
   plugin for you.

 * “Google My Maps” is a free service you can use that matches your needs.
 * This is the link to [Google My Maps](https://www.google.com/mymaps)
 * You can create a map, then send email invitations to the people you want to allow
   to edit the map.
 * You can then embed the map on your website just like any other google map.
