I have a problem with file upload. It always said “Invalid server response. Data is not JSON.”

This happens when uploading files or folders.

What can I do?

Hey @ahsya,

Thanks for contacting our support. Please try to increase the max upload size and max execution time. Also, check permissions it should be 0755.

I have increased both in PHP.INI and theme’s functions.php, but the problem still exist 🙁

Is it file permission issue?

I have figured out this problem, turned out network proxy setting. Somehow a firewall in my office blocked something out.
