    Hello again,

I disabled the way WPPA displays filenames as names of the photo but sometimes I want to display the filename. So I gave each photo the name but on WPPA there is a dash in between every word. Like this:
    John-Ralston-Aki-Aleong
Is there a way to get rid of the dashes. I will be manually copy and paste each name in the Photoname field.

    Thank you.

If you set Table IX-D13 ( Default photoname ) to ‘Filename without extension’ and the filename is e.g.: HP IM 1234 (custom).jpg the filename in wppa+ will be HP-IM-1234-(custom).jpg and the photo name will be HP IM 1234 (custom)

Filenames must be ‘sanitized’ for security reasons. This is why the dashes are replacing the spaces in filenames.

It is the other way around. The spaces in original file names are replaced with dashes in WPPA.
My original setting was “No name at all”

So what you are saying even if I change IX-D13 to “Filename without extension” there is nothing I can do about the photoname of the album that already has been uploaded?

    Right.
