# Dashbord missing key elements!

 * I’ve been asked to update a WordPress site. When I logged in, I noticed the dashboard
   was missing some key elements – links to ‘plugins’, ‘appearance’ etc.

 * Can anyone explain how to get the dashboard back to normal?

 * The log in you are using does not have the administrator role. Only users with
   the administrator role have access to Appearance, Plugins, etc.
