• It’s hard to describe this properly, but when I log into my dashboard, I find my blog title (Venial Sin) superimposed on top of the “WordPress” logo/title/imprimatur. It looks, quite literally, like someone wrote “Venial Sin ()” (parentheses included) on the top of the dashboard, and then wrote “WordPress” over it. It’s not really a major issue (the “Venial Sin ()” functions as a link back to the main index page of the site), but it’s terribly distracting. Any ideas or suggestions about how I can fix this?

Yes, I’ve tried it, but it won’t work. Thanks for your guide btw, it made life incredibly easy. I was afraid I’d have to e-mail you to help with the upgrade as well (you did my initial install) 😉

UPDATE — Yep, now it works. For some reason, it kept displaying in Firefox, but not IE; I flushed my cache and cleaned out my history, and now it’s clean.

    Can you post a screenshot?

I recognise the name now 🙂

I would delete the file wp-admin/wp-admin.css
then login to your blog and see the unstyled mess
    then upload the 1.5 css
then login again and press ctrl-f5
