Dashboard problems

    After upgrading to 2.8 my ‘other wp news’ dashboard feed stopped loading
    (exceeded memory limit).I tried to fix it and reduced the feed items from 10 to 5. Now my pull-down menus stopped working and I can’t move the dashboard widgets any more.
    Any suggestions would be very much appreciated!
