Dashboard not showing up correctly

    Hi, I just updated to 3.0.4 from 3.0.2 today, and everything seemed ok for a while. The site functions normally, but the dashboard is not showing up correctly. It is text only and non-functional. Could I have done something wrong when I did the update, I had to do it manually because the automatics never work the way they should work.

    Sorry if there is a blatantly obvious answer to this question, but I am super new at using WordPress.

    Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem? If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the Twenty Ten theme to rule out any theme-specific problems?

    – resetting the plugins folder by FTP or phpMyAdmin? Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    – re-uploading the wp-admin and wp-includes folders from a fresh download of WordPress?

    – increasing the memory available to PHP?
