I just installed WordPress 3.5 on my site by downloading the ZIP file and uploading it (I tried to do a one-click install via my web host, but it didn’t work so I decided to try installing it myself). I created a MySQL database and all that and everything seemed to go fine with the install. I followed the instructions here on wordpress.org and everything.
But when I go to login, although I have the right username and password, instead of a dashboard I just get a page called “Index of /blog/wp-admin/” and a list of files. Like so: http://www.myucorner.net/blog/wp-admin/. I have seen this sort of list before when testing my own PHP using my computer as a localhost server, so I know it’s a PHP thing. But the point is, I installed WordPress fine, so it should be showing my dashboard, NOT this page. What should I do? I have created WordPress.org blogs before and this has never happened to me before.
