• Hi there. I’m having an issue I was hoping someone might have some insight on. I’m trying to help my wife move her blog from one server to another. The steps so far I’ve taken are this:

    1) Did a fresh install on the new server.
    2) Imported the old DB information to the new MySQL database. This did correctly add the old posts/comments to the new blog, but caused a new issue. When signing in as admin, we were now getting the message, “You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page.”
    3) I found this recommendation somewhere on these forums, and did this forced upgrade: http://txfx.net/files/wordpress/force-upgrade.phps

We’re now able to log in, but the majority of the dashboard is missing…basically all of it. Here’s a screenshot:

Since then, I’ve reuploaded the entire wp-admin folder, but nothing’s changed.

Any suggestions on how to proceed? Thanks in advance.

Of course after I finally make a support post, I figure it out. It was an issue in the usermeta section in the DB. Not sure what exactly, but I went and imported a different version of that table and it’s now working. Thanks all.
