You may be entering as a “subscriber”. To see all the admin menu you will need to enter as an “Admin”.
I understand that, but it doesn’t change how I can get in. How do I get in as admin… it doesn’t let me.
and I never set it up like that…
You can check it from your database. I think the table is wp_users
or something similar. You can see what level your username is set to.
i am to have full access
that’s what my server host support tech says when he looked
Josh, I couldnt find that database
You can access the database through your cpanel by using phpMyAdmin. The information you want is in the usermeta field called user_level. For an admin the meta_value should be 10.
thanks Michael…
it is a “10” I looked like you directed.
so…?
even if I were not an admin and a subscriber, wouldn’t i have more access than “dashboard” and “profile” menus?
I’ve tried everything I know …
if someone from WordPress can’t help…
then I just have to re install WP
If you are a subscriber you will only see the dashboard and the profile. You will need the admin level to have full access. If you cannot make changes to the database then you may want to reinstall WordPress.
